Veronica Barber, OD, FAAO

OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Barber has experience in all modalities of contact lens fitting and has a special interest in pediatric optometry, including pediatric contact lens fittings and the treatment of amblyopia.

​

Dr. Barber began her career in the United States Air Force, where she treated Aviators and other active duty, dependents, and retirees providing eye examinations, contact lenses fittings, and LASIK surgery management. Dr. Barber is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, including aqueous deficiency syndrome and chronic inflammatory dry eye. She also provides pre- and post-operative care for LASIK, ASA, corneal cross-linking, and cataract surgeries locally.

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Barber enjoys hobbies such as hiking, biking, scrapbooking, and creating lasting memories with her husband, children, and pug.

Kristen Omi, OD

OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Omi received her Bachelors of Science Degree from University of California, Los Angeles and her optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University where she graduated with cum laude honors. While in optometry school, she was awarded the F. Edward Hebert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship. She completed her externship rotations at Castle Family Health Center, VA Palo Alto, the Marshall B. Ketchum University Eye Clinic, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. After graduating optometry school, she served as an active-duty Army optometrist at West Point Military Academy where she provided eye examinations for West Point cadets, active-duty soldiers, dependents, and retirees. While at West Point, she gained extensive experience in pre- and post-operative refractive surgery eye care. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.

Jackie started her career as an outstanding graduate of National Career Education and became licensed within her first year of being an optician. She completed her externship training in our office and is passionate about providing excellence in eyecare to our wonderful patients!

Jackie is a storehouse of optical knowledge and is always happy to share this expertise with our patients.
